1) An Update on NCHERM Happenings and Activities

  • In September 2006, NCHERM again expanded our staff.  Kate Halligan joined us as our Director of Client Relationships.  Kate will be reaching out to you to make sure you have been happy with the services of NCHERM in the past, and to explore how we may be of continued service to you in the future.  You may reach Kate at her direct line, (610) 579-3725 and by email to kate@ncherm.org
  • Clips of Brett Sokolow’s educational program, “Drunk Sex or Date Rape:  Can You Tell the Difference?” have been added to http://www.ncherm.org/drunksexclips.html

  • Take a look!  Also, be sure to try out our new shopping cart on www.ncherm.org, which goes live this week.  Use it to order from our online selection of 7 books, 4 videos and 17 archived audioseminars and webinars.  It will also be used for registration for all our future webinar events (details below).
  • NCHERM will again be a sponsor at the 2007 ASJA Conference in February in Clearwater, Florida.  We are giving away one free conference registration at the conference.  Drop your business card in the fishbowl at our exhibit table for a chance to win.  The winner will be selected on the last day of the conference.
  • Brett Sokolow will be presenting at the 2007 ASJA Conference in Clearwater Beach, FL from February 7-11, 2007.  He will be presenting two pre-cons, on sexual misconduct and conduct code revision.  He will also present two concurrent sessions, one on surviving an OCR investigation and the other, with Dr. Linda Rowe, on the applicability of research on medical malpractice claims to the field of student conduct administration.
  • Brett Sokolow will be attending the 2007 NASPA/ACPA conference in Orlando from March 31-April 3, 2007.  He hopes to see you there.
  • Brett Sokolow will be presenting at the Missouri Meeting of the Minds Conference, Kansas City.  March 1-3, 2007.   Brett will be presenting sessions on sexual assault, alcohol and risk management for fraternities and sororities.
