About Jeremy

Jeremy’s unique blend of experience leads him to be a dynamic and engaging presenter with the ability to connect to a vast array of audiences.   He has been working in higher education for over 10 years and most recently served as the Assistant Dean of Students/Chief Conduct Administrator at Loyola University Chicago (LUC).  Additionally, he served as a part-time faculty member teaching public speaking and critical thinking in the School of Communication at LUC.

Jeremy has a Masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. in Mass Communications and Theatre from Lander University.  Currently, Jeremy is enrolled in the College Student Affairs Administration doctoral program at the University of Georgia and serves as a part-time faculty member at Athens Technical College.

Jeremy is keenly aware of the role of communication within higher education and incorporates his knowledge into the work he does.  He has presented on a variety of topics, including:

Jeremy is a trained mediator and a facilitator of the Alcohol Skills Training Program (ASTP).  He serves as a volunteer for a national fraternity where he works with students on issues of risk management, alcohol, hazing, leadership, and member education.  He served as the lead developer of and facilitator for the judicial module of the Southeastern Interfraternity Council (SEIFC) CORE training program.  Additionally, he serves as a core faculty member for the Mississippi Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MSCASA) technical training institute, sponsored by the Department of Justice’s violence against women grant.

Jeremy is an active member and past board member for the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA).
