Brett Sokolow is a specialist in campus safety, security and high-risk campus health and safety issues. He is the founder and Managing Partner of the National Center for Higher Education Risk Management (NCHERM), a national multidisciplinary risk management consulting and law firm. 

Sokolow serves as outside counsel/advisor to thirty colleges and universities, and is a risk management consultant, author, editor, and higher education attorney licensed by the PA and NJ bars.  In addition to his role with NCHERM, Sokolow Chairs The NCHERM Group, and serves as Executive Director of both NaBITA (The National Behavioral Intervention Team Association) and ATIXA (The Association of Title IX Administrators).
